Day 9: Paragliding the Swiss Alps!

Today, we woke up and were so excited for an epic day of paragliding over beautiful mountains, lakes and the town of Interlaken. I've been looking forward to this part of our adventure since my mom signed me up. After a fifteen-minute drive up the hills of the mountain, we got geared up and partnered up with expert pilots, who strapped us in. It is so hard to put into words what it feels like to go from that running start to being in the air thousands of feet high above the ground. After landing my friends and I were all grinning as it was one of the coolest experiences of our lives.

After paragliding, we went back to the hotel to freshen up. We spent the evening on a boat and enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake and mountains surrounding us and a delicious seafood dinner. Personally, I love boats, and this one astonishing in its European style combined with the spectacular views. This was our last night in Interlaken, and I'm very sad to say good bye.
